SALES ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

  • Possess Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Equivalent.
  • Sales experience in a related field will be an advantage.
  • Master our product catalogue within 2 months.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Those that have extensive experience in Sales / Customer Service are desired.
  • Knowledge of the Petrochemical or Power sectors is an added advantage.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Project is an advantage.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Develop and secure new business opportunities.
  • Strategies plan and execute sales activities.
  • Ability to carry out job quotations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain good rapport and excellent service level with existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate with admin teams to ensure quality service for clients.
  • Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying opportunities and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Client-oriented mind-set.
  • Following up with payment collections & supporting Finance regarding billing matters.
  • Liaise with clients from Malaysia, Singapore and other countries (email and phone calls).
  • Open culture.
